• Be sure to dress accordingly, be prepared for the weather.
    • You will have to bring your own Drinking water it is not available on the island.
    • Take along a cellular phone if possible as there are no telephones.
    • Don’t forget a camera.
    • Pit toilets are located on the island.
    • Beaches are not supervised.
    • Motorized vehicles are prohibited.
    • There are camping facilities on the island, located on the Tea House lawn. NS Department of Natural Resources in Waverley should be contacted (861-2560) for permission to camp on the island. Please use “no-trace” camping practices.
    • Cutting trees is not permitted. Please be extremely careful with fire.
    • Hunting is prohibited on McNabs and Lawlor Islands.
    • Visit the island at your own risk. There are no emergency facilities.
    • Please keep the island clean by following the “pack-in” and“ pack-out” motto. Please take your garbage off the island when you leave.
